What Happened to Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.)?

Why does Sen. Lindsey Graham want to rob $2.5 million from South Carolina families and kill 23,500 jobs?

...good question!

Americans for Tax Reform sent a letter to Senator Graham (R-S.C.) urging him to reconsider his support for the prosperity-killing Boxer-Kerry National Energy Tax.

A recent op-ed in the New York Times, co-authored by Senators Graham and Kerry, support a range of policies which are sure to destroy jobs and the economy. Among the proposals outlined in the piece  are protectionism, “we should consider a border tax on items produced in countries that avoid these standards,” and price controls, “The central element is the establishment of a floor and a ceiling for the cost of emission allowances,” while ignoring the massive costs and jobs losses that are inevitable.

According to President Obama’s’ own budget, cap-and-trade is projected to raise $700 billion in taxes over the next decade. “I am urging Senator Graham to remember that the little ‘R’ after his name on his Senate door means you don’t support tax increases,” said ATR President Grover Norquist. “Elected conservatives who support tax increases are like a rat head in a Coke bottle; find one and it ruins the brand forever.”

Graham is my Senator, and I find his actions disgraceful. People is SC are alarmed by his actions, but we are stuck with him for 5 more years! He is moving to the left and there is nothing we in SC can do. He told people at his town hall that "if you don't like it, leave!" And many of them did just that!
