Rep. Mike Ezell Signs the Taxpayer Protection Pledge Promising to Oppose Higher Taxes

Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) congratulates Rep. Mike Ezell on becoming one of the latest members of Congress to sign the Taxpayer Protection Pledge. As a Pledge signer, Ezell boldly commits in writing to the taxpayers of Mississippi to oppose and vote against income tax hikes.

“I applaud Rep. Mike Ezell for signing the Taxpayer Protection Pledge to the people of Mississippi. By signing the Pledge, Rep. Ezell shows his constituents that he is focused on the kitchen table issues that matter most to them,” said ATR President Grover Norquist.

“Ezell will be instrumental in pushing back against President Biden’s radical agenda,” continued Norquist.

After two long years of Democrat policies crushing American workers, retirees, consumers, and small businesses, voters have finally had enough. Voters have spoken and they elected candidates focused on pro-growth policies that hold the line on taxes and expand economic opportunities for Americans.

Eighty-five percent of congressional Republicans have made the written commitment to oppose higher taxes. In contrast, ZERO congressional Democrats have made that promise.
