Or will they at least read the bill this time?

While Congressional leaders will assure you that the details of the bill are known to members, the question is a legitimate one, especially as - as the Sunlight Foundation points out
while the bill, formally called the American Clean Energy and Security Act, was 946 pages long last week, it has ballooned to 1,201 pages in recent days with little explanation for how or why.
Force-feeding costly legislation down taxpayers' throats seems to be en vogue with Congressional leaders and the Obama administration, but speed certainly isn't a virtue when it comes to taxing and spending.

Been there, done that - and the result (think "stimulus") hasn't been pretty.

How about instead of writing and reading such long bills, they try some books that already exist: Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand- 1168 pages Human Action by Ludwig von Mises- 912 pages or for something shorter: The Law by Frederic Bastiat - 108 pages Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt- 206 pages Or there is always: An Island Called Liberty by Joseph Specht- 27 pages since most Congressmen are at about a 10 year old intellect. http://www.amazon.com/Island-Called-Liberty-Joseph-Specht/dp/0976616009
