If President Clinton can get away with allowing banks to merge while the Glass Steagall act was still in effect, just because every politician stood to make bank, then why not blame Bush. If this merger had been halted and teh steagall act maintain, we would not be in this mess. liberals state that Bush should have reinstated teh act, therefore he is at fault, sorry, it took the entire house to pass the demise,Bush was set for failure from the time he took office.
