July 4th Tea Parties Approach
From Tim Andrews on Thursday, July 2, 2009 9:30 AM
On April 15 2009, America stood up to big government. By even the most conservative estimates, 600,000 taxpayers in 540 locations participated in Tea Parties to protest Congress selling out of our future. Spontaneous, locally driven, and independent,
Unlike the professional protesters of the left, these were real, working Americans, who took time off from their jobs to show their commitment to the values of the founding fathers.
Next week, on July 4, it’s all happening again! Hundreds of tea parties have been planned across the US to protest the destruction that cap & tax and Obamacare will impose on the American economy. Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform, will be the keynote speaker in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania where the rally will be held at 9:00am at Flagstaff Hill in Schenley Park.
For a list of tea-parties around the U.S, check out Tea Party Patriots. All supporters of liberty are strongly encouraged to attend!
